Tibetan Aid Project celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018. Due to the pandemic, we have postponed launching this 50th Anniversary Fundraising Event. We are looking forward to setting sail with you in May/June or September, 2022.

With many thanks to Alan Olson and Call of the Sea, we’re happy to announce that Sail & Tribute will become a second annual fundraising event for Tibetan Aid Project, in addition to Taste & Tribute which will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2022.

With both Sail & Tribute and Taste & Tribute cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID, our 2022 events will be particularly important. Since we have been unable to ship texts and the World Peace Ceremony in Bodhgaya, India has been cancelled, we are planning for an extra-large shipment to Tibetans in the Himalayan region as soon as it’s safe. Providing funds for shipping and distribution at the World Peace Ceremony is one of the ways TAP fulfills its mission. We invite you to join us next year for an unforgettable experience aboard the 132 ft Matthew Turner and help us get these sacred and cultural texts into the hands of Tibetans.
